Post Mount Tailgates |

Step 1 With the tailgate open, position the ReadyRamp so that it encloses the open tailgate. Insert the post mount into the tailgate and push down. After the tailgate latch is engaged, secure it with the nylon strap and buckle. |

Step 2
Use the keyhole mount strap at the upper post to secure the ReadyRamp at both sides. Make sure the cam buckles are facing out.

| Step 3
The included O-rings are used to keep the extra strap material from flapping. |

IMPORTANT:
Always make sure all mounts are secure and nylon straps are tight before moving the truck and always get help when using the ramp function! |

| Latch Mount Tailgates: |

Step 1
With the tailgate open, position the ReadyRamp so that it encloses the open tailgate. Insert the latch mount into the latch mechanism. The cam buckles face outward. Secure it with the nylon strap and buckle. |

Step 2
At the point where the tailgate connects to the truck body, lop the straps through the hardware to secure the ReadyRamp at both sides. |

Toyota Tundra
users will need to install the nylon post and
screw to the latch mount, and then mount per
'post mount' instructions above. |

| CAUTION:
The truck
tailgate maximum load rating may be LESS than
1,000 pounds - check the owner's manual before
overloading the tailgate. Always check the
ReadyRamp before use - don't use a damaged unit.
Always secure the ReadyRamp, whether in use or
closed in the truck bed. Never mount a ReadyRamp
on a tailgate that is narrower than the ramp
itself. ReadyRamp® is not a ladder, and should
not be used as one. If you think it might be
dangerous, DON'T use a ReadyRamp to do it! |
