DDS (Damped Diaphragm Steel) clutch has a new lightweight basket
along with a reworked inner hub and pressure plate that provides
additional oil for cooling and durability.
The super-compact and lightweight Lithium-Ion starter battery
weighs just 1.1 pounds.

The 450 SX-F Factory Edition’s engine features a Flow Design
Header (FDH) with an integrated sound resonator that increases
power along with a titanium Akropovic silencer for quick
NEW WP AER 48 front fork with a sophisticated air spring design
and separate damping for easy adjustment to any track condition,
rider weight or skill level. The fork is now 3.1 pounds lighter
than the 4CS unit it replaces.
NEW Orange anodized CNC-machined triple clamps feature a rubber
damping system, Neken handlebar and ODI lock-on grips.
Lightweight chromoly steel frame provides higher torsional
rigidity with less longitudinal stiffness resulting in excellent
handling and energy absorption.
“No Dirt” footpeg design will not clog with mud or dirt, to keep
the foot peg in the correct position at all times.
New-generation WP shock has been developed in conjunction with
the new fork.
Super lightweight Galfer Wave rotors, CNC machined hubs,
high-end D.I.D. DirtStar wheels rims and are fitted with Dunlop
GEOMAX MX32 tires as standard equipment.
The airbox and air filter design offers maximum protection and
airfl ow while providing quick “no tools” air filter changes.
